Den 7. mai spilte NTNUI Knickers årets første kamp i NBL (Norges Baseball Liga). De spilte hjemme på Lade Idrettsanlegg mot Oslo Rascals. Den første kampen, som startet kl.13.00 endte med et tap til tross for ekstremt god pitching av Yann Gloux. Kamp nummer to endte med tap etter 5 innings på den fryktede «mercy» regelen.

Baseball gruppen har satt igang oppkjøring mot årets sessong, vi dro til Fredrikstad og deltok på Winter Baseball Cup (WBC) og har hatt sterkt oppmøte hele vinteren. Sessongen starter 7 mai og laget har store forventninger til året. Årets serie består av 4 lag i NBL 1(Norges Baseball Liga): NTNUI, Oslo Alligators, Oslo Rascals og Oslo Outcasts.

Although we lost both games against the (very much since last season) improved Pretenders 2, we showed a lot of good stuff, and I think we'll be really good after som more practice. Click here to see the batting stats for the team after the first four games of the season!

The new board of the Baseball and softball group is now active and started with a bang winning one of the two first games of the season.

NTNUI Knickers played two exciting games against Osterøy May 8th. The first one ended with a 27-13 loss, but after some great pitching, defense and clutch hitting in the last game, Knickers won it 13-14 on a walk-off! Click here to see the team's stats!

This weekend the NTNUI Knickers played four games in Dødens Dal. Two against Olso Alligators, and two against Pretenders 2. Games were fun and challenging and there was some good baseball going on!

On Sunday we will play baseball games in Dødens Dal. Everyone is welcome to join and everyone will get to play! Tell your friends and show up!

The federation is inviting all 2nd and 3rd division teams to an indoor tournament in Fredrikstad March 7th.

The General Meeting and Social Event held yesterday was a great success. Fun challenges in the slopes at Vassfjellet and good food, drinks and great fun at the meeting made it a good day!
