Early Sunday morning NTNUI NERDs played Trondheim Tornados in the semi-final of the Radison Blu Cup. The NERDs were represented by Asgeir Sjøgård, Johan Coert, Joachim Viktil, Andreas Boge and three invaluable reserves; Janic, Monia and Lisa. During the game Lisa, the only forward on the green team got a nasty elbow, causing a big swelling above her eye. Even though the NERDs were outmatched as to physical size, their good spirits and mutual backing of each other lead to the NERDs winning 8-5 in the final quarter. This was after Andreas Boges last free throw, with closed eyes, narrowly missed the basket. This left the final score of the match at 17-27 to The Tornados.
