Become a member

To become a member, please become a member here on the website, then you'll be registered to the mailing list.
You have to be a member of NTNUI, and it doesn't cost anything to be a member, and you'll receive information about all our activities.
All information regarding riding courses, training weekends and other social events will be announced via e-mail, and at the web page.

Activities

We arrange riding courses in cooperation with Torp riding school every semester for riders at different levels. We also try to arrange beginners courses and training weekends for more experienced riders a couple of times a year.

Riding courses spring 2010

For the time being there are 3 courses; one for beginners, one for those who have some experience and one for those who have practice. Each course is of 4 hours (45 min. each evening). The price is kr 540.

Levels:
- Beginner level means that you have not been riding before or only a couple of times.
- Medium level means that you manage walking pace, trotting and gallop.If it is a long time since you have been riding, we recommend starting at this course.
- Practice level means that you know and manage all walking paces, and know some easy dressage exercises like half-pass and travers.

Here are the dates for the courses. There must be at least 4 attendants and max 7, to arrange the course. So – please sign in as soon as you can. Remember: the registration is binding.

Send your name, mobile no., and NTNUI – card number to camilla_Lindgren89@hotmail.com. When you get a confirmation from me, pai to bank account: 5361 06 92466 for the registration to be valid. I will also need the receipt/transfer per mail imidiately!!!

Torp Ridesenter – how to get there:
Bus “Stjørdal” (not the Timekspressen) leaves at 15.30 from Munkegata, and you take the bus to Torp, it takes about 40 min.(http://www.nettbuss.no/getfile.php/intranett/wimages/Nettbuss%20Tr%C3%B8ndelag/linje14(2).pdf) The riding farm is on your left side, the buss stops 200 m afther the stables. Very easy to see! With a car you take the old mainroad E6 towards Stjørdal, passing Vikhammer, after about 20 min. from Trondheim you will see a large riding farm on your left hand – you found it!

You may borrow helmets at the riding centre, but please take with you your own helmet if you have one.
